Celebration 2015

“Together on the way with Jesus” – under this motto, Christians from different cultures and nations living in Switzerland will meet on Saturday 25th April in Bern.

We will praise God, pray together for Switzerland and be inspired by intercultural initiatives. 

Programme - inspired by Luke 24:13-33

travel by public transportation  Fabrikhalle 12 can be reached easily by bus No. 11 (stop Güterbahnhof). The building is 200m away in a northeastern direction.  It takes six minutes by bus from the Bern train station (Bahnhof).

Travel by car
Highway A1 exit Bern-Forsthaus; after about 100m, turn left onto Bremgartenstrasse and then turn immediately right onto the parking area (see map). There are enough parking spaces available. NOTE: There is no parking next to Hall No. 12.

1) Reaching secular people: What opportunities arise when immigrant Christians approach secular people? With Pastor Larwin Nickelson (Basel) and Pastor Noël Faton (Reconvilier)

2) Meeting Moslems: How can we help Moslems to discover that Jesus is more than a prophet? With Christof Kräuchi (Christians Meet Moslems) and Christian Bibollet (Groupe de travail sur l'Islam)

3) Praying for Jews in Switzerland: How can we as Christians pray for our Jewish fellow citizens? With Hanspeter Obrist.

Coming to the Celebration Together

Christians from all cultures are welcome at the Celebration. It is particularly interesting if you come together with Christians from other places. Invite people from your neighborhood or region. You can download the flyer here.
